Here's a few shots that I have that are by no means professionally taken, but rather just shot quick in the moment so as to not stray from my tasks of creating more plates:

The producer for this shot provided this picturesque plate for a Cream of Mushroom Soup presentation.
I loved this photo set!
Adding a few last touches to a Seafood Rice dish.
The backdrops of herbs really caught my eye. The steam is an actual element of this picture.
What is interesting about food styling for an infomercial, as compared to live television food styling, is that the product is able to be captured utilizing it's complete spectrum of qualities that may be missed while being demonstrated on live television. I worked at HSN for several years in their culinary department for on-air cooking items, so the missed opportunity for a complete demonstration I learned first hand. Sometimes this was due to time constraints or multiple items being promoted simultaneously.
An infomercial is also known as Direct Response Television, or DRTV for short, which includes any television advertising that asks consumers to respond directly to the company, per Wikipedia's definition. This enables the consumer to deal directly with the marketing team's promoter or may be directly with the manufacturer.
The Better Beater really is a cool kitchen gadget that I had the opportunity to work behind the scenes on and it has a great website demonstrating it's ability's perfectly. Better Beater
